Finding My Way Back to the Page
I’ve loved stories since I was a little girl, back when the adventures of The Boxcar Children and the magic of Charlotte’s Web were the highlights of my day. Somewhere between high school exams and “required reading,” that spark faded—but it never truly went out.
In the quiet (and not-so-quiet) moments of the last few years, I picked that “little hobby” back up and it quickly turned into a full-blown obsession. As a mom, reading is my sanctuary. It’s how I decompress after a long day of hearing my name called 100 times or watching the same cartoon on a loop. It’s my “me time,” but it’s also something beautiful I get to share with my son as we explore new genres and local bookstores together.

I love reading a variety of genres but have found my top favorites to be: Romance, Historical Fiction, Thriller, and Fantasy.
- I prefer low / no spice to heavy spice romance.
- I read with a Diet Coke and a warm blanket next to me.
- I will easily read until 1am if a book is that good.
