Sweet Baby M {Lake County IL, Newborn Photographer}

Do you ever think to yourself “Wow, I’m a parent! I have a  little life entrusted to me to take care of and raise…to teach all there is to know but yet walk the fine line in allowing her to figure out some things on her own.”  The greatest part of being a photographer is getting to capture the joy and love a family has for their new little one and watching them realize that being a mom and dad was really one of their main goals in life.  Little M will be surrounded by love from not only her mom and dad but also from her grandparents and family friends.  I loved how even at a few weeks old, her calm personality was shining through and she was already trying to figure out what this crazy world surrounding her is all about.  Sweet Baby M…

Twice as Nice {Lake County IL, Newborn Photographer}

I was so excited to get the opportunity to photograph the cutest twin boys I have ever seen!  The boys arrived around Thanksgiving and provided Mom and Dad with a few extra reasons to be thankful.  Spending the afternoon with the new parents made me believe these two were naturals.  I’m sure taking care of two babies can be a handful but Mom and Dad were pros!  I have a feeling between family and friends these little guys are going to grow up surrounded by a lot of love and joy.  I can’t help but think of the saying “good things come in small packages”…newborn babies fit that perfectly!

Blessing Baby {Round Lake Beach IL, Newborn Photographer}

It warms my heart when you hear the story of how long a couple waited for their baby blessing to arrive.  It restores your faith and hope that with patience and trust in God what is meant to be will be.  This little family was no different.  Spending the afternoon photographing the newest member of this family was all my pleasure.  I ended up leaving with a warm heart and a sore face from laughing so much.  I wish them nothing but happiness and joy.

Baby R {Richmond IL, Newborn Photographer}

It always amazes me how smart new babies are when it comes to their surrounds and their parents.  They can tell the moment they hear Daddy’s voice and know Mommy’s touch.  Baby R showed me again how strong this connection is even when he was drifting off to sleep snuggled into a blanket hand-made by his Grandma.  A few snuggly kisses from Mommy brought out the smiles as he soaked up all the love and attention.  It’s always so fun to see the baby that was tucked up inside Mommy’s tummy.

I do have one small piece of advice for this little guy…learn to love hockey.  The Chicago Blackhawks are a pretty great team and your Mommy and Daddy are pretty big fans.
